Central PA Chamber Committees
Budget & Finance
Oversight on budget preparation, constant review, monitoring and adjustment of the various investments for the Chamber and its related corporations. The committee must review and monitor monthly income and expenditure reports of the treasurer.
Business & Education
Promote relationships between the school districts in the region and the business community by making resources available that encourage a better understanding of the free enterprise system. Organizes student job shadowing, career fairs and other programs to enhance student awareness of job opportunities and employer needs. The Central PA Business & Education Association, organizes an Annual Golf Tournament to raise funds for Business and Education programs.
Events & Membership
Plans, organizes and conducts activities and events for Chamber members to help promote education, fellowship and networking opportunities. Develops programs to welcome new businesses to the Chamber and promotes Chamber Membership as a benefit for all business and professional firms in the region. In addition to participating in the Chamber's Membership campaigns, the committee sponsors new members throughout the year and encourages their continued participation.
